Fashion has never been so feminine. For the spring summer 2024 skirts are back and become the absolute protagonists of the catwalks, proposing an ideal of sensuality and elegance with 50s style models, but also of coolness and carefreeness, with the asymmetrical skirts a bit experimental and with the very short mini skirts for a look decidedly audacious.

The last trends of female fashion for the spring summer 2024 are strongly inspired by the revival. The mini skirt in perfect Sixties style is one of the favorite pieces of the designers, who during the fashion weeks have brought it on runway in a wide range of models and materials. The sexiest and sassy mini skirts choose the smooth leather, the suede or the eco-leather instead of fabric, like those seen in the fashion shows of Michael Kors and Hermés, perfect to match with the cowgirl or 60s style ankle boots. The mini skirts in jeans are more sporty, really short and mix the classic denim to particular effects, decorations of studs and crystals, hand-painted effects or inlays of other types of fabric. Vetements for example mixes jeans to tartan, while Avant Toi decors the mini skirt in stone washed denim with applications of lace and M.S.G.M. creates hyperreal photographic prints. Also colors are fundamental for the new season, with collections that seem a kaleidoscope. Pastel colors are used for the draped mini skirts by Blumarine, for those in romantic hand-painted lace by Vivetta and those in sequins or opaque fabrics by Alberta Ferretti. Suitable for the most important occasions, the long skirt this year almost reaches the ground, maybe opening with interesting and seductive slits or playing with transparencies to reveal the female silhouette with a pinch of malice. The most sensual models are in lace, rigorously in black and decorated by small ruffles or flounces, like those designed by Alberta Ferretti and Moschino. The more scenic long skirts, perfect for an important evening event, are enriched by long fringes that give movement to the figure, like those in champagne silk created by Tom Ford. Always in black, but in more opaque and technical fabrics, the long skirts by Maison Margiela are worn with sporty garments and trainers to lighten the mood. White is instead the color that better contrasts the omnipresence of black, with models characterized by deep slits opened in the front or on the sides, as seen in the collection of Erika Cavallini and Bevza.
