Founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry, the inventor of gabardine with which he created the iconic trench, the brand is celebrated worldwide for its ability to mix British style with an international appeal.
During 2016-17, Burberry will merge the iconic runway label Burberry Prorsum, the tailored collection, Burberry London, and Burberry Brit, the more casual collection, into one label 'Burberry'.
