In his American period in the 1920s, Ferragamo became known as “the shoemaker of stars” and after going back to Italy in 1927, his reputation grew steadily and designed some of the most iconic shoes of all times.
After his death, in 1960, his wife Wanda and children took over the company that has come to offer total luxury looks for men and women, including, fragrances, eye-wear and watches and seduces with a distinctive subtle elegance and an unmistakable lifestyle.
The Italian main flagship store is in Florence, Palazzo Spini Feroni, which also hosts a museum dedicated to Ferragamo's life and work.
