INSIDE THE MEDITERRANEAN IMAGERY OF ASCEND BEYOND

The second winner of The Best Shops Awards that landed exclusively on our platform is Ascend Beyond.

This project is the result of the special collaboration between Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and Camera Buyer Italia. The emerging brands have been selected by Camera Buyer chairman and CEO of THEBS [iKRIX] Giacomo Santucci.

Ascend Beyond is a men’s luxury brand founded in 2021 by Emanuele Abbondanza and Marco Grossi. The project aims to give life to functional items that are also sophisticated, well designed and ironic. The designers create well-cared items inspired by Mediterranean imagery, to recount a thoughtful and meditative commentary on life’s circumstances.

For Ascend Beyond, clothing is a form of expression born from reflections on desire, aspirations, and self-consciousness, which lead to a wide-ranging, extensive narrative.They compare their project to conscious rap – a hip-hop subgenre that, just like Ascend Beyond, encourages discovering insights on an individual level that could lead to collective positive change.

Ascend Beyond's identity is meditative, constantly focused on investigating cultural, self-awareness issues and creativity.
